Because I Am Beautiful

Thanks to You, Beautiful and Awesome One

So, if you carry the signature, we all agree on this — then we all belong. And I am not going by any other definition. This is my factor constant, as algebra would call it — the unchanging truth that anchors me. Nothing on earth or in the sky can redefine me, because all other measures are external.

Yes, I know I carry a mortgage that sits heavy on my shoulders. I have children to raise, deadlines that breathe down my neck, and moments when strength feels like a luxury I can’t afford. I may be single, but I am valued and treasured by my Owner. That fact cannot be altered — not by unpaid bills, not by loans, not by illness, not even by the opinions of those who cannot see my worth.

Even when the landlord hovers, sniffing around to check if I’ve been paid; even when life demotes you without warning or fires you without fairness — remember this: your value doesn’t fluctuate with circumstances. When that handshake comes that you never asked for, when a partner walks away after you gave your all, when your children’s struggles leave you speechless — know that none of these moments define you.

Those who stop calling, who unfriend, who exclude — they’ll come again, looking for your time, your wisdom, your official appointment. Because your story is still unfolding, and the God who seemed silent is busy writing your next chapter.

I, too, once wondered if God really existed. But now, looking back, I see He was enrolling me in the college of fire — refining, reshaping, rebuilding me so that I could stand and say with boldness, He is able.

So today, walk tall. Remind yourself that beauty is not borrowed; it is embedded. It is not in the mirror, it is in the maker. When you rise each morning, remind the world, “Because I am beautiful.”

Have a Big Dad–Enabled Day. The kind where heaven smiles because you finally understood that nothing — not rejection, not failure, not delay — can cancel your divine design.

Now, about that deleted verse of the Lord’s Prayer — maybe it’s the one that whispers in our hearts even when our lips forget:

“For Yours is the breath that keeps me going,
Yours the grace that keeps me beautiful.”
